Flowstrip Glass Sealed Unit Edging Tapes

A shining beacon of our product range for sealed unit manufacturers is the Fenzi-approved FL1830 Utility Grade Waterproof Cloth Tape, which when paired with the Fenzi range of sealants, can offer outstanding performance on traditional insulated glass units (IGUs). The FL1830 is a polyethylene laminated cloth tape with rubber adhesive; offering good conformability, adhesion and initial tack whilst being easy to tear by hand.
A low-cost alternative is our FL1836 Economy Grade Waterproof Cloth Tape, which is still capable of comfortably meeting application requirements and is proving particularly popular in the UK. The FL1836 differs from the FL1830 mainly in terms of adhesion and unwind capability. Together they give clients the option to choose the tape which will best suit their requirements.
Another popular tape for standard industrial glazed units is our FL1700X Self Wound Aluminium Foil Tape. In addition to its heat reflective properties, the tape also offers good emulsion-acrylic based adhesion and protection against moisture vapour. Easy to unwind and apply, the tape is silicone treated on one side to provide easy release.
Once units are ready for transportation, we have also provided a number of clients with glass transportation pads that are used for stacking the units in stillages. The pads, which can be made from high-density cork, PVC foam or a hybrid of cork & foam are designed to prevent breakages during storage & transportation by acting as protecting barriers between each unit.
