3M™ Repulpable Strong Single Coated Tape R3187 is our repulpable bleached high strength extensible kraft paper backing, coated with a high tack transparent repulpable adhesive. Available in blue, white, kraft, and black coloured backings.

• 7.5 mil, extensible paper backing, single sided tape, excellent heat resistance up to 176.67 °C
• Super strong backing for core starting, tabbing, and roll closing, good for a wide variety of papers and temperatures
• Repulpable adhesive prevents broke contamination from non-repulpable splice material
• Meets or exceeds TAPPI UM-213, procedure A, FDA compliant 21 CFR 176.170 (components of paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty food)
• Excellent heat resistance (up to 400°F/200°C) makes this an ideal choice for web processing
