Aluminium Foil Edge Tape

FL1740 Aluminium Foil Edge Tape is a single-sided industrial tape with a clear polyester and aluminium foil laminate carrier, combining strength, flexibility and long-lasting adhesion.

Its modified acrylic adhesive is coated at a high weight for excellent wetting, giving a strong, reliable bond even on structured or uneven surfaces. This makes FL1740 well suited to fixing, mounting and bonding applications across a wide range of materials.

The tape performs across a service temperature range of -40xc2xb0C to +120xc2xb0C, with short-term resistance up to +200xc2xb0C, and delivers strong peel adhesion to steel for a secure, long-lasting bond.

Before application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, dust and loose material.

Next, apply the tape firmly to the required surface using even pressure to achieve the best bond.

For the best results, test the product on your application before full use to confirm suitability.

Store the tape in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ideally, the storage area should have a relative humidity of around 50%. Under these conditions, the product has a shelf life of up to 12 months.
