Aluminium Foil HVAC Tape with Cold Weather Adhesive

This aluminium foil HVAC tape is designed for sealing and joining insulation materials, ductwork and Foil-Scrim-Kraft facing systems. In particular, it is ideal for demanding HVAC and insulation applications.

The tape features a high tensile 30 micron aluminium foil backing combined with a cold weather solvent acrylic adhesive. As a result, it delivers reliable sealing and bonding performance even in low-temperature environments.

Additionally, the tape is suitable for sealing duct board joints, flexible air duct seams and insulation panel connections. It can also be used for general sealing, patching and masking tasks across a wide range of industrial applications.

The aluminium foil backing reflects both heat and light effectively. Therefore, it helps improve insulation performance and overall system efficiency. Furthermore, the low moisture vapour transmission rate provides excellent sealing protection.

Its cold weather adhesive performs reliably in harsh conditions. For example, the tape can be applied in temperatures as low as -20°C and operates between -35°C and +120°C.

Moreover, this foil tape offers excellent ageing resistance for both indoor and outdoor use. It is also compliant with UL723:2008 and achieves a Class ‘O’ rating when tested to BS476 on foil-faced insulation panels.
