FL1000 is a double sided tissue tape from Flowstrip® that is manufactured using a non-woven tissue and then coated with a solvent based acrylic adhesive on both sides to form a double sided tape. Using our many years experience as adhesive tape manufacturers we have developed this double sided tape to meet a multitude of applications.
The tissue based double sided tape has a good initial adhesive tack for quick stick applications where the tape is required to bond substrates quickly and effectively and the 100 micron thick tape allows the product to create a close bond with minimum gapping.
This double sided tissue tape is ideal for applications where a high shear performance is necessary which mainly includes splicing applications over a variety of substrates such as fabrics, paper, plastics and leather.
The FL1000 Double Sided Tape has a proven track record in high performance for the corrugated industry for use a corrugated splicing tape to hold flying splices successfully. The paper release liner on this product has been modified to cater for a quick and easy release when using the tape in this industry as any tears whilst removing the liner on a corrugating production line can cause frustration and expensive down time.
