Windscreen Tip Tape
FDP3202 Windscreen Tip Tape is a protective LDPE tape designed to help prevent scratches and chips during the transportation, storage and handling of automotive windscreens. Its high-grab acrylic adhesive provides a secure hold while removing cleanly with minimal adhesive residue.
FDP3202 Windscreen Tip Tape is a high-performance protective tape developed for the automotive glass industry. Designed to protect windscreen corners during transport, storage and handling, it helps reduce the risk of scratches, chips and costly damage before installation.
Manufactured with a durable LDPE backing and a solvent-based acrylic adhesive, the tape provides excellent initial grab to keep it securely in place. At the same time, it removes easily with minimal adhesive residue, helping to reduce cleaning time and improve efficiency.
The transparent film allows windscreens to be inspected without removing the tape. In addition, specially designed perforations make it quick and easy to tear by hand, making it ideal for fast-paced production and packaging environments. As a result, FDP3202 helps save both time and money by reducing the return of damaged automotive glass.
FDP3202 can also be used alongside Flowstrip FL135 Glass Protection Tape to provide additional protection during handling and transportation.

Before applying the tape, ensure the windscreen surface is clean, dry and free from dust or contamination.
Next, apply the tape securely to the corners of the windscreen to protect against scratches and chips during transport, storage or handling.
The tape features easy-tear perforations for quick application in production environments. Once protection is no longer required, remove the tape carefully to minimise adhesive residue.
Store the product in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Under the recommended storage conditions, FDP3202 has a shelf life of up to one year.
